So what do you do when someone makes a judgment about you? Well for myself, depending on the judgment, I will voice my opinion. I'm sure some of you have read my Facebook post about an extremely judgmental mother who compared formula feeding mothers to junkies. If you read the post and the comments left by other users, you will see that I to left a comment. This was something I couldn't bite my tongue at. Giving into formula was the most heartbreaking things I've had to experience in my life. The feeling of failure combined with the fluctuation of hormones in my body after giving birth definitely took a great toll on me emotionally. As a mom you do want what's best for your child and it hurts to know you can't give you child the best, especially if its suppose to come naturally. Those first three weeks where the most difficult weeks in my life, and dealing with a c section incision didn't help either.
After reading that blog post I definitely felt like I had to defend myself and those other moms out there who choose to feed their child oppose to starving them. In my comment on her blog I did choose to be the better person and not pass judgment on her. My comment was strictly defensive for me, my child and all the other moms out there, my mama grizzly had to come out. I seriously can't stress enough how much I had the was society passes judgment on EVERYTHING. You see it everywhere. In Hollywood, entertainers are pressured into fitting into the "perfect body". If they don't, the tabloids, studios, casting directors will pass that judgment and tell them they are fat. To me only God should be the one doing the judgment. We weren't put on this earth to judge. I learned at a young age that judging gets you no where. If I were to become such a judgmental person I would probably miss out out on knowing my friends or even my husband. You don't like being judged, so why should you do it to others. It leads to nothing good at all.
Having an open mind can actually be a very rewarding trait to have. You only put limitations on yourself when you choose judge. Like the old saying - "don't judge a bird by its cover." I am a person that has many "covers". My hair - I will dye it black on occasion, does that mean I'm a goth? I have a nose piercing, does that mean I'm a hoodlum? I'm gonna get a tattoo, does that mean I have reckless outlook on life? I have Britney Spears on my ipod, does that mean I only listen to "teenie bopper" music? I have a son and drive an SUV, does that mean I'm a soccer mom? I'm Mexican, so does that make me illegal? If you read your history books, you will see that judging others only leads to bad things like discrimination and wars. So like most of you were taught to think before you speak, try thinking before you judge. You might discover that I dye my hair black because it looks good and that right after that Britney song on my ipod you just might hear some Nirvana, U2, Buddy Holly, T.I., The Doors and even some good ol'e Disney music.

Introducing....My Blog
Well I have always liked blogging on Myspace. But ever since I got a Facebook account I have stopped logging on to Myspace. It seems that so has everyone else. So now I just thought of creating this blog whenever I want to rant, speak my mind or just say what ever really. I will just be writing when ever I feel like writing. I'm not one to keep up with this kind of stuff weekly or even monthly. I guess I'm just a huge procrastinator. Well I guess that's all I have to say for now.
